Booklebee Tales invites children to draw, dream, build, and tell the stories only they can imagine.

What would you create if no one told you what to make?
Books for big imaginations
Each Booklebee book begins with a spark, then leaves room for kids to invent the places, creatures, and possibilities that come next.

Children can build an original story with Booklebee, then ask a grown-up to submit it for a chance to be shared on The Booklebee Podcast.
Why Booklebee?
Booklebee Tales is here to help those worlds find their way onto paper—and into stories worth sharing.
We make creative books and listening adventures that give children a beginning without deciding the ending for them.

Ayla Gilmore
Ayla is a certified teacher with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in educational technology. Booklebee Tales grew from her lifelong love of creativity, her love for children, and her belief that kids do their best imagining when they are given room to wonder.
By bringing education and creativity together, Ayla hopes to help children invent worlds, characters, stories, and ideas that are entirely their own.
When she isn’t dreaming up something new for Booklebee, Ayla can usually be found painting, making something, or spending time with her husband, their two children, and one very fuzzy dog. She can’t wait to see what young creators make next.
